ABOUT THE SHOW
Incognito Cinema Warriors XP, or "ICWXP", for those of you with an insatiable lust for acronyms, is a direct homage/tribute to one of the greatest television sagas of yore: Lost!

Well that was the original idea, but that last episode left us so wicked pissed we scrapped that and decided to do a heavy metal puppet show about a soldier stuck in a movie theater with two
robots surrounded by flesh eating zombies who's forced to watch bad movies instead.

The SyFy Channel called our pitch "too unbelievable" and utterly lacking in the senseless drama and nudity department, so we decided to make it independently and promote it online.

But seriously folks, if you're reading this, you probably know the show we're talking about here and we miss it like Hell.  Our particular addiction to it has officially crossed over from mere nerd-dom to full blown desperate cry for help severity.

Combine that with our love of zombie films ("Dawn of the Dead", "Shaun of the Dead"), zombie video games, ("Dead Rising 1 & 2, Resident Evil") and lil' evil robot fighting Blue & Cyan guys from Japan, and you have ICWXP.  Essentially, we took all our favorite things, tossed them in a blender and pressed frappé.

The result of all this supreme nerdiness is a show that has been embraced by a surprisingly large handful of fans of "That Other Show" and no one's more shocked than us!

The Kansas City, Missouri based show originally launched on MySpace (or as we like to call it, "MySpam") with the modest Episode 1 DVD in February 2008 to a surprising response.  We got friend requests and web traffic far beyond what was expected.  Some of it was even nice!
So, the excu - er, reason Rick & the bots are subjected to the crumby movies is an enchanting tale of wonder and young, budding love.  Actually, it's a gory funeral dirge laced with violence and dispair, but we started off with the intention for wonder and young, budding love, honest!

It's like this:

The dead have returned to life and of course, as any self respecting minion of the damned does, they crave human flesh.  Murder and chaos ensues, you know the drill.

In the blink of an eye, the U.S. Military assembles CORPS (Command of Re-Animate Processing and Suppression) to combat the droves of stinky people chompers.

The sarcastic Commanding Officer of one such squad of zombie-combating commandos, Rick Wolf, is deployed downtown in an undisclosed Midwestern city (Kansas City).  Despite being heavily armed and well trained, his squad is quickly chowed down on by the ghouls.  Oops.

Outnumbered and low on ammo, Rick takes cover in a boarded up old movie house - Cine-A-Sorrow Theater.

Inside, he's shocked and annoyed to find two wise cracking sentient worker droids ('cause old movie houses from the 50's - 60's had those) by the names of Topsy & Cylon.   Their creator has seemingly abandoned them and the theater he once owned.  Unfortunately, the two 'bots aren't the only old ghosts lurking in Cine-A-Sorrow Theater.  Dr. Harrison Blackwood, demented old inventor, is alive and well and hiding out in the theater's sub-basement with the building's controls at his mischievous fingertips.

Dr. B strikes up a bargain with his old mechanical creations and Rick; if they agree to watch one of the theater's films a day, he will keep the zombies from invading via security shutters so he can monitor their reactions to the movies (don't ask us why or how).  The guys of course agree, but it instantly becomes a daunting task, as the theater's bill of old horror films is simply unfit for viewing.

Rick and his new robot pals try to make the best of things and rightly trash the retro B-Movies with the only weapon they're left with - sarcasm.

So there you have it.  Commander Wolf and his new robo-chums must endure some of the worst movies ever made, or become zombie-chow (well, Rick anyway - zombies don't eat robots, but for the sake of the already flimsy premise, please don't tell them that).

Luckily for you, Rick & the bots don't take it lying down, and provide each movie with witty, mean-spirited riffing, and you get to watch.  Score.

...four days later and the guys have picked up disembodied, talking zombie head Professor Zedekiah Logan or "Zed" for short.

On the morning of Day 4, the guys get shaken when Dr. Blackwood is suddenly and violently replaced by an enigmatic new villain from the
"Ludovico Corporation" (who seemingly Dr. B was also working for).

Their new captor stands to make Dr. B's treatment of his prisoners seem humanitarian as he pulls out all the stops to break the will of Rick and his robot pals.  What's more, he seems to have met Rick before without him knowing and sports cell phone apps capable of controlling the theater's functions and even powering down Topsy & Cylon!  Is it finally Doomsday at Cine-A-Sorrow?
